What is OEE?

In the manufacturing industry, particularly in the lean production, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is the leading marker used in statistical process control. It measures the total effectiveness of production. An OEE score of 100% means that only good parts were produced (100%), as quickly as possible (100%) and with no downtime (100%).
There are two ways to calculate OEE: the quick calculation and the complete OEE formula.
